We put our formulas to the test with specialized machines that give us real, quantifiable data.
Corneometer®
Measures how hydrated skin is by seeing how well it holds a small electric charge—because water conducts electricity, a higher reading means more moisture
Tewameter®
Measures barrier function with sensors that track how much water vapor escapes from the skin (known as transepidermal water loss, or TEWL)
Sebumeter®
Measures the amount of oil (sebum) on the skin, by using a sensor that captures how much light it's reflecting (more light = more oil)
Cutometer®
Measures skin’s elasticity by gently pulling it and seeing how it responds, which helps us understand if a product improves firmness
Chroma Meter
Measures pigmentation by shining light on the skin and assessing its absorption or reflection, to track improvements in dark spots and radiance
Expert Clinical Grading
Experienced dermatologists and trained skincare professionals evaluate our products' performance in real-world conditions. At key points throughout the study, they assess participants' skin using a standardized scale, rating various metrics like texture, tone, and overall appearance to measure improvement.
