    You can use our AHA/BHA Niacinamide Exfoliating Pads on your face, but with nearly 12% exfoliating acids, they might be too strong for some. We recommend using them on your body or, if you try them on your face, following up with a hydrating moisturizer.

  • Should I rinse my skin after use?

    Our AHA/BHA Niacinamide Exfoliating Pads are designed to leave exfoliating acids on your skin for maximum effect. If you have very sensitive skin, you can rinse your skin after use to reduce the intensity. Alternatively, you might prefer a gentler exfoliant with added moisturizers, like our AHA/BHA Renewing Cream, or our Glycolic Renewing Scrub, which is meant to be washed off in the shower.

  • Is this safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

    Our AHA/BHA Niacinamide Exfoliating Pads wasn’t tested on people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and some doctors recommend limiting the use of AHAs and BHAs during that time. We suggest checking with your doctor before adding this product to your routine.

"I've been using this for about two months now and my skin is the best it's ever been. I have oily/combination skin that fluctuates with my state's extreme temperatures; and I have mid-30s hormonal acne. Since using this product, I've noticed 1) less acne breakouts (less in number and less in severity) and 2) more even skin tone. My previous acne scarring is definitely fading and softer appearing. "An excellent mild non-irritating exfoliation. As a guy, I’ve tried a few other brands with a high price point and found them to be effective, but rather irritating. The Skinfix version, for me, works better - no irritation, gets rid of dryness, gets rid of dry skin, and helps with the white-heads on my nose. My usage, twice a week, overnight or during the day for about 8-12 hours on. I usually apply the SkinFix water cream over it, which I find to be very hydrating. As a side note, I use Rx Tretinoin gel which causes a bit dryness and dry skin in my face."

Can you use this for your armpits?
Hi A, It’s safe and effective for the whole body—but especially helpful on areas where skin tends to feel rough, dry, or bumpy. Its a perfect product to help exfoliate to avoid ingrown hairs! We hope this helps!
Do I follow up with moisturizer or serum or just rinse?
Hi Diana, Great question. You do not rinse after using the Resurface+ AHA/BHA Niacinamide Exfoliating Pads. We do suggest to use these pads 1-3 x a week and follow up with your normal routine afterwards, including your serum and moisturizer if using. We hope this helps!
