The lactic acid in the barrier+ Triple Lipid Collagen Activating Serum formula is part of the preservative system. The Serum's pH is about 6.0. It's usually in the range of healthy skin's pH. The serum is safety tested on the skin - but not specifically ophthalmologist tested (many eye creams are not ophthalmologist tested - all Skinfix eye creams are, by the way). The serum should not cause any irritation - but if any is experienced - please rinse off immediately.
Yes, you can use it with other peptide serums, including copper. We recommend using this serum as the first step after cleansing and toning, to get maximum benefits from the 10 active ingredients that replenish ceramides and collagen.
