Is this the original formula?

Hi Veronica, Yes! When we re-launched our barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide Cream with our patented BL-3 complex, many members from our community voiced that they preferred the original version. After much internal discussion, we've decided to re-launch that original formula, which does not have BL-3 last year in June. All product sold since then is the original formulation. The original offers the same hydration benefits -- it hydrates instantly and over time -- and we're excited to have had the opportunity to hear our community. Is this cream fungal safe?

Vegetable oil is listed in the ingredient list, but it does not specify which plant oil is used. Vegetable oil can rate 0-5 on the comedogenic scale. I realize the Triple Lipid cream is advertised as non-comedogenic, but I am very acne prone even though I have dry skin. It is not oily. Can you provide a more specific description of what plant your vegetable oil is sourced from?

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. We list ingredients by their INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names, which can definitely be a little confusing! Peptides are short chains of amino acids—the building blocks of proteins—and the ones we use in Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream are rice-derived. On the ingredient list, you’ll see them listed as Hydrolyzed Rice Protein. So even though it doesn’t have “peptide” in the name, rest assured it still functions as one in the formula.

Can dry/combo skin use this?

If I order this product during the summer, will shipping in the heat or having the box left in a community mailbox in the heat damage the product?

Hi Galus, Thank you for your question- We temperature test all of our products for both extreme cold and heat, to ensure it is stable and able to withstand the many different weather conditions for North America.
